Life IS a Daring Adventure for The Paper Players

It’s Sunday, and time to play with The Paper Players! This week, the super-talented LeAnne has a fabulous sketch for us.  I flipped it in its side, and pulled out the soon-to-be-retired Daring Adventure set and my Epic Day This and That Designer Series Paper.  I hope you enjoy today’s card!

The Stampin’ Schach Design Tips
This finished card measures 5-1/2″ wide by 4-1/4″ long.

  • Marker magic! Inking up a sentiment in multiple colors has never been easier thanks to Stampin’ Up!’s Stampin’ Write Markers.  I selected Calypso Coral, Island Indigo and Early Espresso to make Helen Keller’s inspirational quote stand out!
  • Things that make you go “wow”! The Pool Party panel was just screaming, “Pearl me!”  Once I got started adding mini-pearls, I just couldn’t stop. The result will make any pearl lover say, “Wow!”
  • Calypso coordination! What ties all of the panels together? A touch of Calypso Coral in each!

“Life is either a daring adventure or nothing” is one of my favorite quotes.  I must say that it seems to be describing my life at this point in time.  I would have never dreamed that after retiring from teaching for 34 years, I would be spending my time in a balancing act between stamping and showing dogs.  Whoever said I would have too much free time on my hands when I retired, certainly had no premonition of this wild and crazy adventure I call my life! And I LOVE it!

So…what do you think of today’s card?  Won’t you let me know in today’s comment? Your comments are important to me…and I do read each and every one of them! And remember, if you ever have a question about the cards I create, or the techniques I use, I am only an email away.  Until next time…
