Feminine and Fabby for Pals Paper Art

Are you ready for a fabulous sketch?  If so, today is your lucky day, because it’s time for a Pals Paper Arts sketch challenge!  What a perfect sketch to showcase these gorgeous patterns from the Tea for Two Designer Series Paper collection.  Enjoy!

The Stampin’ Schach Design Tips
The finished card measures 5-1/4″ by 5-1/4″.

  • Dynamic duo! The Floral and Calypso Coral Polka Dot patterns from the Tea for Two Designer Series Paper collection are a perfect pair.  Why do they work so well together?  It’s the commonality of color.  Both patterns contain Calypso Coral and Very Vanilla.
  • “Pop” up a posy! The Solid Flower from Stippled Blossoms was inked in Calypso Coral, stamped off once, and then stamped onto Naturals Ivory card stock.  The Stippled Overlay was inked in Soft Suede and stamped off once before over-stamping. After snipping out the completed flower, Stampin’ Dimensionals were used to “pop” it up above the card’s surface.
  • Embossed! The Thanks So Much sentiment from the Oh Hello set was heat embossed with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder.  The Stippled Overlay from Stippled Blossoms was inked in Soft Suede, stamped off, and then randomly stamped over the banner.  Lucky Limeade, Calypso Coral, and Crumb Cake inks were used in the emboss resist technique.

This card was a snap to makeIt could easily be re-designed into a 5-1/2” wide by 4-1/4” long card.  Of course, if you did not want to use so many pearls, you could leave off the strips.

This card will be winging its way to the girls’ handler, Rhonda, to thank her for the fabulous weekend.  Lexi won her class both days, and Muffy won her extremely competitive class on Saturday.  They looked so pretty, and showed so well!

I hope you enjoyed today’s card.  Won’t you let me know what you think in today’s comments? As always, your comments are so important to meI do read each and every one! And remember, if you ever have any questions about the cards I create or the techniques I use, I am only an email away! Until next time…
