Have you ever wished that there were more hours in a day? I know I do! Fortunately for me, my wonderful team mates at The Paper Players were very understanding when I was not able to get my Design Team card completed before Stampin’ Up!’s Leadership. Anne Marie had planned a wonderful color combination for us, and I knew in my head what I wanted to create. I was finally able today to put ink to stamp. I hope you enjoy “Oh, Hello for The Paper Players“!
The Stampin’ Schach Design Tips: Sweet, Shabby, and Sassy
This card measures 4-1/4″ wide by 5-1/2″ long.
- Sweet! Stampin’ Up!’s new Flower Trim adds a vintage touch of sweetness. These dimensional flowers can be easily tinted any color by simply using an ink pad, Sponge Dauber and Stampin’ Spritzer. My color of choice for today’s card was Daffodil Delight.
- Shabby! A Tea Lace Paper Doily cut in half adds a shabby background to the Pacific Point Oh, Hello Herringbone Oval.
- Sassy! Herringbone and Polka Dots add a sassiness to any card. The Daffodill Delight designer paper is from the Parker’s Patterns collection, while the Basic Gray Polka Dots are courtesy of the Neutrals Collection Designer Series Paper Stack.
This is a relatively simple card to make. Punching out the Oh, Hello oval is a piece of cake with the new Oval Framelits. Plus I have prepared a short video on dying the new Flower Trim, which will debut Tuesday. So what do you think of today’s card? I tried to make it a little fresh and sassy, as well as give it a few vintage touches. As always, your comments are important to me, and I do read each and every one.
Until next time…
Absolutely gorgeous as always! I love the flowers, I said I didn’t need them but I think I do now! 🙂
These tiny flowers are so pretty in Daffodil! This is a happy card!

More hours in a day, huh? I think your success is catching up with you, which is a good thing. That and the dogs are filling up your days and nights. But it’s a good kind of busy.
Ann, love that you de-focused the Pacific Point and put the focus on the Daffodil Delight and Basic Gray. I also love the mixture of chevrons and polka dots. The flowers are fabulous! Another gorgeous card

What a bright and fun card! Wait, no pearls – or is there one snuck in there that I missed? Those flowers are to dye – for – sorry, couldn’t resist the pun! This card was worth the wait – I love gray and yellow and the punch of blue I wasn’t sure how you would handle that! Great job as always. Looking forward to the video!

Such a beautiful card in this happy color combo. I’m intrigued by how you tinted the flowers and will have to give that a try. Welcome home from Florida, Ann!
