It’s Sunday and time to play with The Paper Players! This week I designed a Clean and Simple Snowflake challenge for you. All you have to do is make sure that you have a snowflake(s) on your clean and simple project. Although my card may not be the “cleanest”, it is certainly simple to do, with minimal stamping! Designer Series Paper does the work today, coupled with a Tree created in My Digital Studio. I hope you enjoy Sledding with the Paper Players!
The Stampin’ Schach Design Tips: Let the Paper Do the Work
This finished card measures 4-1/4″ wide by 5-1/2″ long.
- Let the paper work for you! This adorable sledding duo was snipped from a piece of Storytime Designer Series Paper.
- Let it Snow! What could be easier than letting the Snowflake pattern from the Snow Festival Designer Series Paper collection serve as your snowflake laden sky! Of course, I couldn’t resist adding a few Basic Pearls for good measure.
- My Digital Tree! What do you do when you need a tree and no stamp in your possession will do? Why you head to My Digital Studio. This happens to be the Tree from Forever Young, printed with my own printer and snipped out. Since I thought it needed a little extra pizzazz, I added Dazzling Details and a Wreath, created with the Jolly Bingo Bits stamp set.
- Sweet little sentiment! This sweet little card deserves a sweet little sentiment. I added the Warm Winter Wishes sentiment from Winter Memories.
So there you have it! Cute, easy and quick! Now if I can only keep the Puppinator from destroying it! As always, your comments are important to me, and I do read each and every one. So please, won’t you leave me a comment and let me know what you think of today’s card? And remember, if you have any questions about the cards I create or the techniques I use, I am only an email away. Until next time…
Stamp Sets: Jolly Bingo Bits, Winter Memories; Inks: Garden Green, Cherry Cobbler; Designer Series Paper: Storytime, Snow Festival; Card Stock: Wild Wasabi, Whisper White; Tools: Big Shot, Snowburst Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (retired); Glitz and Glam: Basic Pearls, Dazzling Details, Cherry Cobbler and White Bakers Twine; Digital: My Digital Studio, Forever Young download;
An all around fun-tastic winter scene you created here! Happy New Year! 🙂
Such a sweet, winter scene, Ann! Love the snowy, pearly background & the cute little sledders (such a clever use of the DSP). Thank you, it has been fantastic being on the Paper Players team with you over the past six months! Looking forward to coming back to play in the challenges next year too. 🙂
Brrrrr! Warm Winter Wishes indeed are needed with all that snow. Brilliant to use the paper for the snowstorm and brilliant to make use of MDS to fill in the needed details. Before I read the text I thought you were out of your mind stamping all those snowflakes. Should have known common sense would prevail along with your unerring artistic eye. {grin}. Reminded me of days gone by sledding with my brother on a neighbors back hill.
This card looks anything but easy, Ann! How amazing! I think that paper is going on my list!

Wow!! That is really cool!

How creative to use the snowflake EF for ground cover. And the kids cut out finishes it off. Love it!
You have a way of always remembering some of my favorite winters growing up. From sleigh rides and now sledding. Such an awesome card, very creative with the scene you created. This is adorable! I Love everything about it. That is one of my favorite embossing folders and it is perfect for this technique (tearing to look like snow). I love the children sledding and love the tree and pearls on your snowflakes. I need to check my stash and see if I have a tree that is similar since I do not yet own MDS. TFS!!
