It’s time to play at Freshly Made Sketches! The talented Rita Wright’s versatile sketch was perfect for a Clean and Simple Masculine card, or what I like to call CAS-Mas. There were several masculine stamps which would have worked great for this sketch, such as the Tractor from Harvest Blessings or the Truck from Countryside, but I reached for the Horse Frontier stamp set. Horses were an important part of my life growing up, and this image brings back so many memories. I hope you enjoy today’s card!
The Stampin’ Schach Design Tips: Clean and Simple Masculine
This finished card measures 4-1/4″ wide by 5-1/2″ long.
- Emboss! When leaving an image uncolored, heat emboss for a richer look with a touch of texture!
- Let it slide! A Ribbon Slide is the perfect option when adding a touch of ribbon on a masculine card!
There you have it… quick and easy!

All the dogs looking out the window brings back memories of when I had a house-full of German shepherds! Always entertaining and endearing. I love your – or should I say The Twins’ – stories.

Fabulous card…beautiful! The picture of the dogs is absolutely priceless….thank you for sharing!
What a great card! That slide does look like something sort of horse equipment type stuff. You can tell I don’t “do” horses! Anyway, great card.
Love the photo of the kids! What a riot! Do any of the two leggd kids going to school look for them and wave to them?

Ann, I absolutely LOVE this card! Great for any horse lover, not just the guys!
Of course I like your card today Ann. but what what made my heart melt was the pic of your dogs… they’re just adorable. Thanks for sharing it…
Horses are such a beautiful animal and you made a great card with that image. When I saw it, my thought was that you need to get SU to make a stamp with a Boxer on it and then I saw the picture you posted with your three Boxers lined up at the window. That is just too cute!!!
Perfect masculine card! Love it, but agree with everyone else . . . those boxers steal the show. 🙂 Thanks for a chance to win some blog candy!
Nice masculine card Ann! But the star of the post is the adorable picture of the boxers watching the kids.
LOL, I wondered what CAS-Mas was…obviously now I know! And this is a perfect example…love it with the paper from the paper pack! And of course, the pups steal the show!
This is a great example of CAS and Masculine. It came together beautifully!
Hi Ann! Great card! Perfect CAS-mas! Your fur babies are adorable! That photo is priceless!
Excellent masculine card, always so hard to design! And I LOVE the pictures of the pups; looks like a little family, quietly watching outside. wonderful!
Ann great masculine card. Love it embossed too, and I really like the ribbon slides. Hugs
PS: The fur babies look too cute peeking at the kids. How funny.
Awesome masculine card! I definitely need to get that horse set! I love the Woodgrain EF too! I can so relate to the pic of the Twins and Lexi, mine love to look out the front window and watch the kids going by as well! So cute, love how they are lined up shortest to tallest!
Hi Ann! Wow, such a stunning cas mas card! I think if you tied the ribbon in a bow, this would work for a girl just the same. The ribbon slide kind of looks like the loops from a saddle though. Perfect!
Love your doggie pic! Now this one just has to go in your MDS album. I bet Lexi really missed her mama and is happy to be home now.
Now that picture of the dogs made me laugh! How sweet are they??!!! Love the card. Masculine perfection!!

How cute is that picture of the dogs! Do they always stand in that order? Tallest to shortest? Funny!
I LOVE this card, Ann! What a great masculine card, and that horse image is just gorgeous. This set is going right onto my wish list!
