It’s Sunday, and time to play with The Paper Players! This week Jaydee has a wonderful color challenge for us: Cajun Craze, Night of Navy, and Bravo Burgundy with Very Vanilla. At The Paper Players, we are all about the fun! So if you do not have these exact colors, feel free to substitute with a similar hue. For example, I substituted a Midnight Muse patterned paper for Night of Navy. Enjoy today’s card!
The Stampin’ Schach Design Tips: Country Style
This finished card measures 4-1/4″ wide by 5-1/2″ long.
- Champagne and burgundy! The Witch’s Hat from the Jack of All Trades stamp set was inked in Night of Navy and snipped out. It was stamped a second time in Bravo Burgundy, and the band was snipped out and adhered to the Night of Navy hat. A Star, punched from Champagne Glimmer Paper, adds the perfect amount of glam!
- Pumpkins and leaves! Linen Thread bows adorn the stems of the Cajun Craze pumpkins, adding a sweet country touch. A cluster of leaves snipped from the Orchard Harvest Designer Series Paper collection adds to the fall festivities!
- Lace-n-Twine! Hemp Twine and Victoria Crochet Trim make a pretty pair when tied together!
I hope you enjoyed today’s card. Won’t you let me know what you think in today’s comment? And if you need a snippet of the retired Hemp Twine, I still have a little left that I would be willing to share. Of course, if you have any questions about the cards I create or the techniques I use, I am only an email away! Until next time…

Ann, this card is sheer perfection! Love the DSP that you chose and the way that your DSP coordinates and complements one another. The pumpkins, witch’s hat, and autumn leaves are so balanced, and the colors coordinate so well with the DSP. The bling is divine! Love the glitter star, pearls, touch of lace and twine. What a fun and festive card! The hat with the glimmer star (and a pearl, of course!) adds so much pizazz. Thanks for the wonderful inspiration!

Gorgeous fall colors, Ann! All the fussy cutting really showcases in this creation. Love the witches hat with the glitter star. Such a cute picture earlier of the Twins and Lexie watching the children on their way to school! Do they ever notice the trio watching them from the window?

Boy, talk about details! So many fun and great elements I don’t know which is my favorite! Love how you snuck in some of the pearls. But, I think I really like the chevron papers the most but then again, I love the twine with the lace and the bling to the witch’s hat. Ummmm too much fun! I don’t even remember seeing that stamp set even! Great job as always! You really brought the colors to life. I want to see what the others have come up with now!
