Those of you who follow The Stampin’ Schach know that I rarely CASE cards, but today’s card is another CASE (Copy And Share Everything) from Stampin’ Success, the Stampin’ Up! demonstrators magazine. The only thing I changed was that I used a pearl instead of a rhinestone on the star. Isn’t it sweet? And it can be made in less than 10 minutes using scraps.
I used exactly the same paper as pictured in the magazine, which is from Festival of Prints. However, I can’t wait to switch this out using the last scraps I have from my all-time favorite holiday paper…the retired beauty, Deck the Halls. And think how cute this would be with some of the adorable retro patterns we have now! I can’t wait to stamp a stack of these!!! And if you are heading to the stamping studio (or at my house, the kitchen table) right now to create one of these cards, the strips are 1/2″ wide and the greeting is from Greetings of the Season!
Blog Candy
As I mentioned in yesterday’s post, I have two new stamp sets from last year’s Holiday Mini…Festive and Fun and It’s a Wrap Holidays. I thought they were adorable, but I never did get around to inking them up. With the holidays quickly approaching, I thought maybe one of you could put them to good use.
In addition, I am starting to downsize my stash of favorite cards that I couldn’t bear to part with right after creating them. I am including this Nature Walk card which I created over a year ago.
All you have to do is a leave a comment on this post, or Friday’s and Sunday’s posts. I will randomly select a winner from all comments left through 10:00 PM CST on Monday, and announce the winner on Tuesday. I am sorry, but I can only ship to US addresses, as per Stampin’ Up! guidelines. HOWEVER, if the first randomly selected name is from outside the United States, I will send you a consolation prize of three of my favorite cards, if you would like.
As always, your comments are important to me, and I do read each and every one of them. Until next time…

Pretty Ann! I like that you used up scraps and the mix of dsp. The colors and patterns are really pretty together. Great way to mass produce Christmas cards. Must save this wonderful idea!
Ooh! Love this. So easy and yet beautiful. Love that you made the bottom of your tree a little more narrow like a natural tree rather than a triangle like most people do. Gonna have to case this one!

Great way to use the scraps; possibilities are endless. Enjoy the weekend.
Very cute card and love the inspiration that you give us each day.
Love this card! I always intend to start Christmas cards early enough to make something intricate—but that never happens. This is so simple yet striking! Thanks for sharing.
Always looking or inspiration in using scraps… I just hate to throw them out. Tks for the opportunity to win some candy.
Let’s see: a new stamp set or an Ann Schach original creation? That is a tough decision but I would go with the original Ann Schach creation!! Love the use of DSP scraps and there is nothing wrong with using your resources. My goodness Lexi is growing; such beautiful girl. Hugs!
I thought I was the only one with uninked stamps. Hahaha!!!! Thank you for all the inspiration, our styles are so similar, so I often “borrow” ideas from your blog. Keep up the great work and have a blessed weekend.
Love the idea for using scraps…so if I get to work right away…I should have a bushel full of cards using only scraps….thanks for sharing and of course you used a pearl Ann….just saying! *hugs*
Got to love using up abundant scraps to create something so lovely! As for ‘casing’ I will be casing your Nature Walk card….unless of course I get it in the mail…in which case I would frame it!
Enjoy the gorgeous day, Ann!
This card looks so cute and so simple! Love your blog and the adventures of your pups!
CASEing a card is a huge time saver – or inspiration start. I follow your blog for that reason – you always make such beautiful assemblages with stamps I tend to favor – will be caseing your Winter Memories cards for my November workshops! Thanks for sharing your beautiful work!
Your card turned out fabulous. It’s amazing what we can do with a few scraps. Your card has given me ideas for my scrap pile.
What a cute Christmas Card and not time consuming, will have to try, thank you.
