Ann’s Favorites: October, November, December and More Mini Blog Candy

Welcome to the final day of 2011: The Year in ReviewOctober, November and December.  I love creating fall and winter cards, so it comes as no surprise that I had a difficult time narrowing down my choices to just one per month.  So here we go on the final leg of our journey!  To learn more about each card, just click on the month and name of the post.

October – Tree for The Players

Pearls, pearls, and more pearls, paired with delicious seam binding roses!  Need I say more as to why this card is my favorite for October!

November -Christmas Lodge for Freshly Made Sketches

Texture! Glitter! Pearls! Add a cute bow treatment…and you have the recipe for my favorite card of November!

December – Vintage Elegance for The Paper Players

How do I love thee?  Let me count the ways.  I love thy texture…thy coloring..and the awesome ‘possum ribbon treatment!  With its Victorian elegance, this Apothecary Art card is my favorite for December!

More Free Paper

So what do you think?  Do you have a soft spot for seam binding roses, or do you prefer the “freshness” of a Christmas Lodge?  Or could it be that Victoriana is your cup of tea?  Just let me know in today’s comment!  And yes…for one more time…I will share fifty 6″ x 6″ retired pieces of Stampin’ Up! Designer Series Paper with one more randomly selected person from all comments left on this post  by Noon CST Tuesday.  And to make things easier…I will do a simple post Tuesday afternoon and name the three winners of the paper (instead of naming two on Monday and one on Tuesday). Until next time…

  60. Ann, those have been my favorite cards of yours. I can remember my reaction seeing them for the first time and knowing that I will never be that good of a stamper. They are literally pieces of art! Now, you want me to pick ONE. OK, up till this very minute I was going to pick December’s but now I think I have say October/Christmas tree, because that was pure genius to color the pearls, which are your signature embellishment. 63. Ann…I just don’t think I can pick! Each of these cards is magnificent in its own right. I love the gorgeous tree focal on the October card, the rustic beauty of November’s offering, and the embossed Victorian card as well. But if I had to choose just one, it would have to be October. That tree is just gorgeous!

  64. I can understand how difficult it must have been for you to pick these three cards because I honestly can’t pick between them…I love them all! Pearls, ribbons and roses – Victorian, vintage or shabby chic…doesn’t matter,.I love your work!!!

  65. It’s a difficult choice …. I was struck by the embossed background you created with the Lovely as a Tree image on October’s card and of course the beautiful delicate red roses you used on that card as well as with the gorgeous Apothecary Art image on December’s card. Looking forward to more of your wonderful inspiration in this new year.
