It’s Wednesday and time for a little peek at the Pals Paper Arts inspiration card. I hope that you like what I have designed for you. It is something that can be created in a short amount of time, and it is something for which you may have a need.. I hope you enjoy tomorrow’s reveal.
Muffy so wanted to type on the ‘puter today, but I told her that she needed to wait until Friday, when we could provide pictures to go with her story.
And Brody has some very sad news. As Boxer lovers know, the breed is very prone to cancer. A small lump mysteriously appeared on his lower lip, and we have watched it diligently. His vet is going to remove it, and have it biopsied. He goes back to the vet today, and a date will be set for surgery. I know that so many of you have followed the Twins since they were tiny babies, and I wanted you to know. Let us hope that it is benign.
This has been weighing heavily on my mind all week, and has certainly put a damper on this holiday season. My Christmas cards have not been sent. Emails have gone unanswered. I have not visited my friend’s blogs or left comments. I have not baked Christmas cookies or purchased stocking stuffers. Most of my pre-order remains untouched. Facing the unknown is always tough. Until next time…
Oh Ann, I was doing some catch up today and came across this post. It brought tears to my eyes. You have been sharing their lives since the beginning and I feel like they are partly mine. I pray the bump is benign and I’m so glad he’s not in any discomfort. Give him a special hug from me and take one for yourself. Praying for a positive outcome.
Big, big hugs!!! I’m sure you’ll find that everything is going to be fine! I’m a “worrier” too, but it doesn’t help anything, so try not to! As for all the *stuff*…it’s just *stuff*! Christmas isn’t special because of it, but rather the people you share the holiday with! Be at peace. Tons of bloggy hugs and prayers being sent your way!
Ann, I’m so sorry to hear about this situation with Brody. I can’t say it any better than all the people who’ve left comments before me: will keep you and Brody in my thoughts and prayers. Big hugs.
Ann, I am going to keep all of you (including the twins) in my prayers. I know all too well how you feel about Muffy and Brody. They are your “children” too and we care for our “furry children” just like we do our human ones. I always look forward to the news about your twins but this is one that wasn’t so fun to read. Sending hugs and prayers…………
Oh Ann, I am so sorry to hear about Brody. Sending prayers and positive thoughts your way. Hugs to sweet, sweet Brody <3
Oh Ann! I am so sorry to hear this. I will think positive thoughts for you my friend and for Brody. Sending you hugs!
Lesley
What a frightening discovery, so sorry you are all having to deal with this at what should be one of the happiest times of the year. All my good thoughts to Brody and your family. Hopefully the sweet buddy will be okay.
Ann – we’re sending Brody lots of hugs, and the cats are sending lots of licks. They all just got over sharing a cold and know that it’s no fun to be sick. We’re all hoping for good news!
~Nicole & Brian (and sarah, tag, iggy & dimitry)
Oh, Ann! So sorry you are going through this tough time. Will definitely be praying for good news for you.
My boxer, Duke, had the same thing … a lump on his lip we had removed … all was/is well with him now. (So my heart is with you as you go through this). Sending cyber hugs to you and the twins (who I have grown to love through your writing). Thanks for sharing, and please keep us posted!
Best wishes for a Merry Christmas to ALL of your family!
I am with everyone else’s comments. My heart goes out to you and your family. Hugs to all and special hipes and prayers. What was to be done can wait. Please have Brady or Kim let us know the outcome if need be, your cyber family will all be wanting to know. If you need anything please let me know. Otherwise, lots of prayers and hugs are heading your way.
Chris R. from Iowa
So worried with you! I understand how much you love your dogs! Please let us all know as soon as you find out!
Oh Ann I’m so sorry to hear about Brody. My heart is going out to you. Know that you have my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Please keep me posted on his surgery. Merry Christmas. Julie
Oh no! Crying sounds and hiccups from Miss Daisy.
I am so unhappy about this news and so understand how this affects your life. These are our babies and we love them so much. Looking forward to hearing about the results from the surgery. Miss Daisy has been so sick for the last 3 weeks and I think the antibiotics have finally kicked in but oh how scared I have been with her inside out sneezing that lasts so long and she just shakes afterwards. She’s always done that, but it was so bad and scary along with regular sneezing.
I am praying for you and your family as you go through this.
On the fun side – we had SNOW here in Orange County and now I can no longer say that Miss Daisy has never walked in snow! It was a total shock! Snow in Wisconsin yes, snow in the mountains of California, yes – but the sunny playground of the lower 48!
Christmas blessings to you and your family from our family! (sorry this was so long)
Prayers and good thoughts for Brody! Love the lip balm gift and TFS the instructions. WELCOME HOME BRADY!!! Have a very MERRY CHRISTMAS to each of you. Big Hugs!
Please give some hugs to Brody the Boxer for me. Crossing all my parts that all is well.
And…I can’t WAIT to see your card! Loving the antique brad and the pearl already!
Ann – Thoughts and prayers are being sent your way. I hope you get good news!!!!!
Ann – I am thinking of you and praying the news is good regarding the lump. Stamping is often good therapy! 🙂 – Dawn

Praying that this lump will be nothing and no cancer. Also will pray the Peace of the Lord upon you and your family. I know from experience how difficult it can be and how dearly we love our pets. Don’t worry about the things that don’t get done. I will have to get some gifts made and given after the holiday! Maybe they will be special as “New Years” gifts! Thinking of you, your family and the twins. Lots of love and prayers,
Kathy

Hi Ann! Many prayers for Brody and your family. Stay positive though, we had a cancerous lump removed from one of our “boys” and they caught it so early that there were no more problems. He lived to be 11 and 1/2 years old and had a very happy life. I am sharing in your anxiety however, it seems to be so hard to wait. Prayers and positive thought for you my friend!
