It’s Sunday and time to play with The Paper Players! This week the talented and lovely Jaydee is hosting a colour challenge…and I know that you will want to play along! To me, Bravo Burgundy, Cajun Craze, More Mustard and Very Vanilla are the colors of autumn. So I pulled out my leaf stamps for examination, and opted to use the French Foliage set. I hope you enjoy my Fall confection!
Today’s card measures 4-1/4″ wide and 5-1/2″ long.
- Texture! The Houndstooth Textured Impressions Embossing Folder is a perfect choice for a fall card. It exudes a warmth, especially when zipped through the Big Shot with Cajun Craze card stock.
- Mute! After randomly stamping the Very Vanilla background image mat with Bravo Burgundy, Cajun Craze, and More Mustard leaves from the French Foliage set, Vellum is layered over the top. This allows the spray of leaves to take center stage.
- Dazzle with details! Several leaves were stamped and fussy cut. The edges were distressed with Soft Suede ink before adding Dazzling Details along the veins. The result is gorgeous in real life.
- Depth and dimension! Stampin’ Dimensionals are perfect for “popping” up the leaves!
- The “Wow” factor! Basic Pearls ring a More Mustard Spice Cake Designer Button, while a Hemp Twine bow adds the finishing touch!
I hope you enjoyed today’s card. I am so anxious to read what you think of it…so please…won’t you leave me a comment. And of course, if you ever have a question about the cards that I create or the techniques that I use, I am only an email away! Until next time…
