Fall on Parade for the Players and Blog Candy

It’s Sunday and time to play with The Paper Players! This week The Paper Players are hosting our fabulous “Anything Goes Challenge”! You may create anything you wish as long as it contains a “Fall” element! Maybe it is a specific fall color combination or a fall image! Or how about a few fall embellishments, like leaves or pumpkins!  Since my Blog Hop card from yesterday is my “official” challenge card, I will repeat yesterday’s information about it.  But I also want to include a few of my favorite fall cards that I have created this year.  So be sure to scroll all the way through the post!

The Stampin’ Schach Design Tips
(5-1/2″ wide x 4-1/4″ long)
  • Texture! 1″ squares of Spice Cake Designer Series Paper were punched and adhered to a piece of card stock.  This was then zipped through the Big Shot with the Top Note die.  The texture was added with the Square Lattice Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.  The “quilted” Top Note was adhered to a piece of Cajun Craze card stock which had been “texturized” with the Houndstooth Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.

  • Leaves! The Gently Falling Leaves were inked in:  More Mustard, Crumb Cake, Pool Party, and Cajun Craze and stamped onto Naturals Ivory card stock.  The overstamps were inked in Early Espresso, Cajun Craze, Cherry Cobbler, and Old Olive to complete the second step of the Two-Step process. The leaves were fussy cut and arranged into a cluster.
  • Button and Bow!  A new Spice Cake Big Designer Button makes a perfect anchor for the leaf cluster.  A snippet of Spice Cake Designer Fabric makes the perfect little accent bow.

  • Pennant! The Grateful Greeting sentiment from Grateful Greetings was inked in Early Espresso and stamped onto Naturals Ivory.  The edges were daubed in Soft Suede, and a “V” was cut using paper snips.

This card will be hand-delivered to the lucky recipient this Thanksgiving! I hope she likes it!  But if you wished to mail this card…simply “leaf” off the top three leaves! Easy peasy!
