With the onset of Fall, my thoughts immediately turn to creating fall cards. For this week’s Buried Treasure feature, I just had to bring back one of my favorites from September, 2009. Click HERE to read the original post. It is hard to believe that I crafted this card two years ago for an Our Creative Corner monochromatic challenge. This is a design that is timeless.
Making It Fresh
- Spice it up with Spice Cake Designer Series Paper!
- Make it “pearl-fect” by adding Basic Pearls!
- Fall in love with it by using the Gently Falling stamp set!

Thank you to all who left comments on my Pals Paper Arts Sneak Peek and The Reveal! Would you like another chance to win more paper next week??? Just let me know!
I will be away from my computer for most of the weekend. I do have posts scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, however I may not get to your questions and comments in a timely fashion. But you do know that I treasure our blogging friendships and I look forward to reading your comments and answering any questions about the cards that I create or the techniques I use. Until next time…

Ann, this is stunning!! It must have taken a lot of time to do but it’s breath taking. It’s a treasure.
This card is so beautiful, I remember being totally in awe when I first laid eyes on it two years ago (don’t you love that houndstooth dp?). Thank you for the fabulous inspiration and ideas of how to update with new products!
Love the fall wreath! Your leaves are just gorgeous. I can see why you couldn’t resist just a touch of old olive. It really does work & makes them look even more realistic. One question for you – how do you use the spritzer with the markers? Think I’m missing a technique I could be using.
Ann I remember when you first posted this… just as gorgeous today as it was then.
Love your hints for updating with today’s new “stuff”… Hugs.
congrats to Luanne for winning!
Oh my! You’ve outdone yourself with this one! drop dead gorgeous!
It sure is timeless; looks like you could’ve made it yesterday! I love the leaf wreath.
Oh Ann, ths is such a gorgeous creation! I remember oooh-ing and ahhh-ing over it then and I still feel the same way about it now. Love the tips and tricks you shared with the new products too. Thanks for always sharing such awesome inspiration! 🙂
