It’s Thursday and time to play at Pals Paper Arts. This week we are hosting a Clean and Simple: Add Lace. Nothing adds interest like a snippet of lace! I have made many cards with lots of lace, but I decided to keep the lace to a minimum on today’s card. I hope you enjoy this winter card created with the Beautiful Season stamp set.
The Stampin’ Schach Design Tips: Quick and Easy Elegance
- Score! Diagonal score lines are an easy way to add a touch of class to any card. And easy it is when using Stampin’ Up!’s new Simply Scored tool.
- Emboss! Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder adds richness and elegance. While the bird remained uncolored, the leaves and berries were lightly tinted using Cherry Cobbler and Always Artichoke inks with Blender Pens.
- Embellish! A simple bow made from Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding adds the finishing touch.

Oh, Ann….this card is so sweet and elegant. I love all the crisp white space, and the crimson bow really makes the image pop. The white on white texture in the background is wonderful. Just gorgeous!

I keep scrolling up to see the words quick and easy. Sure! This is just simoply stunning! Each and every detail is just the best. I don’t think you could improve on this card at all! I hadn’t even noticed the bird was not colored until I read it! It is just really great! That little bird is singing our praises of this card! I was thinking maybe you were going to use some of the mica stuff on the berries – so glad you didn’t as that stuff would be distracting. Though, I wonder about a little frost on the berries with a touch of “snow” on them. I had’t thought about the addition of the sizes of the card and papers you used. Thanks Ann, this is a super card!!!!

This is a stunner. The diagonal scores add some nice texture to the background, the coloring of the leaves and berries amonst the gold embossing looks very pretty, and the seam binding bow gives a nice bit of color.

Hi, Argie! The entire image was inked in VersaMark then heat embossed with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder. The entire image is gold embossed.

Wow! I am a huge fan and clean and simple and this card adds “elegant” in every way. I love the score lines set on the diagonal. It takes this card to the WOW level. What an easy, yet eye catching detail. I think cherry cobbler is right for every occasion! The bow is exquisite.
