Brody: Hey, Muffy! Why do you look so sad?
Muffy: Mom left for Convention today. We won’t get to see her until late next Sunday.
Brody: What’s “Con-bench-un”? Is it like a “Bench” show where we have to stay on the show grounds so people can come and see us on display? I like those. Especially when the little kids come to see us!
Muffy: It’s not “Con-bench-un”, it’s C-O-N-V-E-N-T-I-O-N. It’s when she gets to be with all of her Stampin’ Up! friends and learn new things and see new products!
Brody: Do little kids come and see her?
Muffy: No, Brody, little kids do not come and see her. She sees people like Mary Fish and Mike Funke.
Brody: That is so cool! She bought me a fish after I saw the vet the last time. And remember the monkey we got at the Marshalltown show. Maybe she will bring us home a fish and a monkey!
Muffy: For such having such big ears, you only hear what you want to hear. It is FUN-KEE, not monkey.
Brody: Oh! Well, maybe she will bring us back a toy anyway.
Muffy: I don’t think so. She said she was going to be bringing back stamp sets and lots of new ideas. She also talked about visiting the place where they make the stamps and meeting with someone named Shelli. Because Mom recruited Brittney in April, Mom gets to go on a VIP tour and go to a VIP room where they have treats.
Brody: Maybe Mom will bring us home some treats. That’s almost as good as getting toyz.
Muffy: She can’t bring us treats. They are only for the VIP recruiter people.
Brody: Is VIP like having Champion before your name. Our furry dad has Champion in front of his name. Maybe Mom will be in a Parade of Champions, like at the American Boxer Club show.
Muffy: Well, she will be marching across the Stage at Convention because of her Stampin’ Up! sales. That is kind of cool.
Brody: Will she get a blue ribbon for that?
Muffy: No, but she will get another stamp set and she gets to walk with her good friend Ginger from Montana.
Brody: Wow! Does Ginger know Hannah Montana? And how do you know so much about Stampin’ Up! and Conbenchun, Muffy?
Muffy: I want to be a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator when I grow up. Right now they have a $99 Starter Kit Special. You can read more about it HERE, Brody.
Brody: No I can’t…I can’t use the ‘puter very well. My feet are too big.
Muffy: Well your brain certainly isn’t. Are you squinting at me? Hmmm…Are you squinting at me?
Brody: MOM! MOM!
Muffy: Mom can’t protect you now…What?
DAD: Muffy Lin Schach, quit picking on your brother this minute! And who gave you permission to be on MY computer? No treats for you!
Muffy: Gotta run, Mom’s Stamping Friends. Stayed tuned for reports…maybe! My Mom took her ‘puter with her.
Love your doggie posts. Big hug to both of them. I got to see you walk across stage and I finally got to say hi in person! It was a fabulous convention. Hope you had a safe trip home! Ours was long but we are home now with our heads filled with so very many ideas!
HAHA…Your pups always make me laugh ๐ I hope they don’t miss you too much! {sMILES}
Soooo cute!!! I so miss taking the time to read the Twins Talk. Hugs,
Hi Muffy and Brody!! So good to hear from you guys again! I agree with you Brody, I like your interpretation of what you heard better. “Con-bench-un” will be a blast for your mom and I’m sure she’ll bring home treats for herself (and maybe some for you both as well). ๐
Muffy how can you be sooooo mean to my boyfriend! I think that my aunt will get a blue ribbon or something like that. An even if not – a new stamp set is really fabulous! My mom sells Stampin’ Up! too, but not enough to get a blue ribbon.
WOOHOO Ann – congratulations on being able to walk! Wish I would be there to hoop and hollar – you would know my voice because it wouldn’t sound like Miss Daisy! Have fun, fun, fun!
This was such a sweet read Ann. How exciting thay you, Mary and Mike will all be meeting up. Have lots of fun at con-bench-un. ๐
Mary
Whoo Hoo! Have fun at “Con-bench-un”, Ann! The twins make me smile with their adorable posts. I’m sure they are going to miss their mom, too. Can’t wait to see updates from your trip. Enjoy! Hugs! ๐
Love it when you talk through the “kids”. LOL You would be a great children’s book writer! Hope you are having fun at conbenchion! LOL Best, Curt
Oh I just LOVE this! Gotta say, I am just about at the point where I look forward to the twin talk as much as your cards….I just mean that “you writing that book is as creative as your cards!” (is that bad of me?” Ann, my dogs were dognapped for 4 days this week, I KNOW YOU KNOW WHAT I WENT THROUGH!!!! No cards, no dogs, no food, no sleep! So it was a pleasure to not only read about you at convention but about your lovelies being safe and sound. We love them don’t we!!!! Have a blast, enjoy your time and WOW>>>YOU ARE A CHAMPION OF ALL CHAMPIONS!!! I will be thinking of you at the Parade and I hope you get the GOLD RIBBON!!!!
Hi Ann,

LOL Brody and Muffy sure will miss their mother ! Have a wonderful time at convention and I’m sure you will bring back lots of inspiring ideas and funny stories.
Muffy & Brody,
This is a very exciting week for your Mom. She will have a lot of fun at convention with her SU friends and get rewarded too! Kind of like when you go to your shows. Be good for your Dad and I’m sure you will get treats.
Hugs, Mrs. Lisa (& Harry!)
Way too cute – I luv the Twin Talk updates! Have a wonderful time at Convention. Can’t wait to see your new ideas. I know the twins will be missing you while you’re gone – but they will keep us entertained!
Thanks Muffy and Brody for talking with us a little bit. I sure wish I was with your mom.
Have fun! I know you will have a blast. Cannot wait for your updates. Keep us posted.
The countdown is on Ann. See you and the Monkey shortly!! Wish Kylie was back at Convention.
Well, Twins, your mom is a blue ribbon stamper to many of us. Just make sure you don’t “help” her with her new Stampin’ toys when she comes home. Have a fantastic time, Ann!
Super good job twins! Maybe if you’re lucky, your mom will bring you back some toys or treats!
OMG, Muffy and Brody you really crack me up! Hannah Montana…too funny. You are doing a GREAT job of covering your moms blog while she is at convention. Thanks for the update.
Again, I have that big grin on my face while reading the twins post. Can’t wait until Brody matures a little more and gives Muffy a run for her money. But I can see Dad has it under control. Have fun at convention.
Have a great time at convention! Love the boxers and they will miss you! Walk that stage and Congrats!
Hi Muffy & Brody! I know you miss your Mom but she will be back soon! Make sure you are good doggies while she is gone so she doesn’t have to worry and can have fun at convention! Auntie Kathi sends big hugs!
Awwwwwwwwwwww how cute! Hope your flight was great and you have the best time ever at the Con-bench-un!

Hi Ann, I really love your Twin Talk a lot – so much fun! I hope you will have loads of fun on the convention.
I finally could record a video of my daughters last concert with the Church Trombone Choir, where she played a little solo. If you are interested: just click on the picture of Anna-Sophia. :-))http://paperwahn.blogspot.com/2011/07/angebervideo.html
