A Touch of Kindness for the Pals PPA92

It’s Thursday, which means it’s time to play at Pals Paper Arts.  This week we have a summery color challenge ready for you:  Peach Parfait, Pear Pizzazz and Poppy Parade.  Today I elected to use a whimsical set from the Summer Mini, Touch of Kindness! I hope that you enjoy today’s card.

The Stampin’ Schach Stampin’ Tips:

  • Watercolor! Blender Pens and ink give our ginger cat its delightful hues.  Peach Parfait and Cajun Craze tint our kitty, while Marina Mist birds bathe in a Sahara Sand fountain.  Bashful Blue, Poppy Parade and Pear Pizzazz inks complete the scene.
  • Here comes the sun! So Saffron card stock is zipped through the Big Shot with the Perfect Polka Dots Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.  A little Peach Parfait is brayered over the dots and sponged along the side of our cheery sun.
  • Flower power! Boho Blossoms with Basic Rhinestone centers are the perfect accents for corner treatments and to set off sentiments! Need leaves?  The “Leaves” from the Two-Step Bird Punch are the perfect size!
  • Finishing touches! White Baker’s Twine is perfect for cross-stitching on the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border PunchCrumb Cake and the Color Spritzer Tool are the dynamic duo for instant speckling! And what could be better than a kitty collar complete with a Basic Rhinestone tag!
As always, I love to read your comments.  What do you think of this summery color combination…and my attempt to make a “cute” card?  And as always, if you have any questions about the cards that I create or the techniques that I use, I am only an email away.  Until next time…

(Note to Tory:  Pauline’s card is a “waterfall” card.  Click HERE for a tutorial.)
