Buried Treasure and Birthday Parade Part 1

It’s time for our Friday feature, Buried Treasure.  This week’s card from the past first appeared on The Stampin’ Schach on Thursday, June 4th, 2009.  I dug up this “pirate’s booty” because of its classic Mojo layout.  Click Here to read the original details.
Layout Options:  This layout is perfect for cards where you wish to showcase a sentiment. Plus, the vertical panel on the right is tailor-made for a variety of floral sets, such as Fabulous Florets from the Summer Mini or Just Believe from the 2010 – 2011 Idea Book and Catalog.  Give it a masculine vibe by using the tall pine from Lovely as a Tree!  Go shabby with the Eiffel Tower from Artistic Etchings!
Embellishment Updates:   Scrunchy ribbon or lace can add an instant face lift!  A fabulous fan-fold flower or rosette on which to perch a bejeweled butterfly adds pizzazz!
Techniques:  How beautiful would it be to use Inlaid Embossing or the Faux Silk technique on the back panel!  Emboss Resist the image…or even the sentiment!  Create your own background paper by randomly stamping!
How about you?  Do you have a Buried Treasure you need to revive?  I’m already envisioning the possibilities with this card!
