Saturday means its time to take a peek at this week’s The Paper Players inspiration card. It’s been “blinged” and “textured” as you can see! I hope that you will join me tomorrow for its reveal. I will be interested in reading your comments, as it uses one of the sets from the new Summer Mini, which goes live May 1st. Speaking of the Summer Mini, out of all of the new products in it, which one is your favorite? Since I can’t narrow it down to just one item, I would have to select The Open Sea stamp set, the Sail Away stamp, and the Nautical Expedition Designer Series Paper. Your comments today and tomorrow will earn you a chance to win FREE Basic Pearls!
Let the Parade of Birthday Cards Continue!
Yesterday I shared some of the fabulous cards that I received for my recent birthday. Today I would love to share even more. I know that you will be just as impressed with these as I am!

I hope you enjoyed these cards as much as I! It’s a busy weekend at the Schach’s! Brady has a concert Saturday evening, and the Twins are showing both Saturday and Sunday. A mere 4-1/2 hours separate the two venues, so a lot of my time will be spent on the road. The Twins show early and Brady plays late. Plus I was up in time to watch the Royal Wedding live. I’m tired already!
And speaking of Brady playing, I know that several of you had wanted to hear excerpts from his Junior trumpet recital. I tried to keep a list, but if I over-looked you, and you did not receive excerpts but would like to, please email me. It’s not perfect, but for someone who used to suffer from performance anxiety, it isn’t bad either.
In closing, remember…your comments are important to me. So please, share with me…and I will share my Pearls with you. And as always, if you ever have any questions about the cards that I create or the techniques that I use, I am only an email away! Until next time…

What beautiful cards you got. My favorite stamp set (so far) is Touch of Kindness – and I don’t even like cats. It’s such a cheerful set. I also love the embossing powders. I hope SU comes up with some more colors.
Oh my goodness how lucky you are to receive so many beautiful Birthday cards! I hope you had/have a wonderful Birthday!
Thanks for sharing a peek… looking forward to the rest tomorrow! Thanks again for sharing all your creativity, and your pearls 🙂
Such lovely birthday cards….see how many people love you?
Can’t wait to see the whole card…
Ann your birthday cards are beautiful! Such talented designers.
Your sneak peek is so cool looking with all the bling and texture.
I loved hearing Brady’s concert. I played it while catching up on some May birthday cards. And with the twins, Brady and YOU… I see talent is everywhere in your family.
My favorite set so far in the summer mini is the Open Sea and I’ve already made about 5 different layouts. In fact I had my brother’s card done and went back and added some twine after I saw yours.. so thanks for that inspiration. I Love that set.
Hugs.
MOre beautiful birthday cards! I enjoyed seeing each and every one.
Fun sneak peek! Love the texture and bling! Wonderful birthday cards! Would love to know about Shirley’s card too. It was such a bright cheery card! I am not sure what my favorite from the new mini is yet, I really haven’t looked that much – I was busy trying to justify purchases from the past one before 5/1! Hope all goes well this weekend – will await the news on Brady’s concert and the canine adventures of the twins!

It is fun seeing the birthday cards that were sent to you -I am always amazed that we can take the same stamp set and turn it into something completly unique as our own-that’s the great part of stamping! My favorite stamp set would have to be the open sea set -love the nautical look for summer.
Have a wonderful week-end enjoying your family activities. I would love to hear your son play –

wow your day is a busy one-thanks for showing your birthday cards-loved seeing all of them-
Your favorites are my exact favorites, except I have to add the embossing powder in those yummy spring colors. Woohoo!
Ann, you are blessed with some very talented friends! My favorites in the Summer Mini are the Open Sea and nautical paper too — I didn’t think they’d be so popular when I saw them, but I’ve seen lots of sneak peeks from pre-orders! On the Grow has also grown on me — even though I have a good number of scooter images already! And Recess! LOVE the hula hoop!
Ohhhhh, I love Shirley Sweany’s card!!!! It’s beautiful.
As always, I’m anxious to see the whole card! And I’ll admit, the chance to win pearls is a sure way to get me to comment, Ann! Have a great weekend!
Wow, thosse are so cute and I love the sneak peak!
Your Birthday Cards are Awesome! Can’t wait to see the finished card from Sneak Peaks…Love the way you tease us all. Thanks for sharing 🙂
Like the promise of spring your sneak peek displays; lots of glitz, bling and color! I would love to hear Brady’s exerpts, please. Good luck to Brady and the Boxer Twins this week-end. You travel safe to all the happenings! I am in Liberty Lake with the grands AND trying to find a house. Pretty hectic here! We finally received an offer on ours. Looking forward to the reveal and a Muffy/Brody dialog Monday/Tuesday!
My favorites so far are The Open Sea stamp set and the Nautical Expedition DP. Hope that you have a great weekend!
Your sneak peeks wet the appetite Ann. Sounds like you have a very busy weekend. Children and pets can always keep you very busy but what would we do without them. My favourite from the mini and that is for now, is the Strength and Hope stamp set. Not only is it a beautiful stamp set, a portion of the proceeds from the sale of this stamp set is going towards helping those with breast cancer.
Great sneak peak, Ann. As always, I am looking forward to the full view to see what gorgeous card you have created. A Happy belated birthday to you-I enjoyed all of the cards you posted. Have a wonderful weekend with all of your activities. Kathy in AZ
Can’t wait for the reveal!! You got some GORGEOUS birthday cards there!! Funny….I was just saying to my girlfriend the other day…”I’m jealous! Everybody gets nice homemade cards from me, but I don’t ever get one that nice! I want a gorgeous homemade card someday!!” She laughed, but it’s true! You’re lucky to have such good friends who send you such nice cards!! Happy Belated Birthday!
I’m also a fan of the Nautical themed stamps in the new mini. You have some really talented friends, there. Love all the cards and ideas that are generated from seeing them. Thanks for sharing.
Sounds like you are having a busy week-end. Hope all goes well. I like the new Strength and Hope set, and the new embossing powders seem enticing. Thanks.
Such gorgeous birthday cards Ann! Yesterdays were too. You sneak peek looks fabulous. Hugs,
Sparkle, texture, & new stamps–I know I’m going to be impressed.
My favorite item from the new mini is the single Sail Away stamp.
So many beautiful cards, so many wonderful friends. Thanks for the birthday parade.
Good luck to Brady & The Twins.
Nice sneak peek. Looking forward to seeing it all. Love all your birthday cards. Good luck getting from place to place this weekend. Try to enjoy!!!

Speaking of favorites….how can you ask us to pick just one!! Mine has to be Touch of Kindness and Sunny Fun…I see so many opportunities with both sets….
I had to go get my mini catalog to figure out what set you used. I’m curious to see the whole thing now. Looks like a lot of cutting things out, which is something I don’t do and am not good at. I hope my poor little card can handle being on the same page as yours!
I need to make friends with more stampers before my birthday! 🙂 How exciting to get all those wonderful cards in the mail.
I can’t wait to see the rest of your sneak peek. Your birthday cards are fabulous. You have talented stamping friends.
Oh! Lots of bling and lots of color. Can’t wait to see!
Ann Love all the cards you received for your birthday but my most favorite is Shirley Sweany and there was no link attached which has me believing she doesn’t have a blog….OMGosh can you get directions from her on how to do this card? I love it!
Your sneak is very intriging and am looking forward to seeing the entire card with instructions….thanks for sharing!
Can’t wait to see the reveal tomorrow, love all the sparkle on the sneak peek! Goodness, you sure have a busy weekend, good luck to the Twins and Brady too! Love all the birthday cards, lots of talent there! As far as my favorite item in the Summer Mini, since I’m big on florals I just love the Fabulous Florets set and that Beyond the Garden DSP is to die for! They are both on my list of have-to-have’s! Enjoy your weekend!
Love the peek and all your B-day cards! Thanks for sharing your cards. I enjoyed see all the beautiful work your frineds sent you.
Have fun this weekend burning the candle at both ends.ha! Hope Brady and the Twins have a fab time!
