One of the perks of being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator is that you have such wonderful resources at your fingertips! One such resource is Stampin’ Success, a monthly publication filled to the brim with ideas. So when asked by a recent hostess, Karen, to demonstrate a layered flower at her party last week, I reached for my February Stampin’ Success and found this beautiful card made with the Fun Flowers Bigz Die. Needless to say, the flower was a huge hit at Karen’s party and at Krista’s party the very next night!

I changed the card ever so slightly by adding a center punched with the Scalloped Circle Punch. I substituted a Rhinestone Brad for an Antique Brad. Instead of having my party-goers stamp a sentiment directly onto the textured Crumb Cake, we stamped the sentiment from Bring on the Cake onto Very Vanilla card stock and punched it out with an Oval Punch. Of course, I just had to add Pearls!

Ann!
This is so unique and a bautiful color combination. Hope to do something similar soon thanks for continuing to share your talent.
I almost misread it – I was thinking a thousand hits but you said subscribers. Well, I personally, probably would have made the 1000 hits – I keep coming back to something I saw previously and review how you did it or just look for inspiration!
This card is no exception! I simply love everything about it! I had some of those purple rhinestone things but for the life of me, I can’t find the little container of them after I used them. It is around here someplace. Thanks for sharing it!

LOVE the purple framing the printed DSP part of the flower; the Circle Ice Brad in the center just pops the color! Your attention to detail with the sponging, spritzing and added embossing folder make the difference between an ok card to a WOW creation. Bravo, Ann; well done!
It is absolutely beautiful!!
Purple & pretty. Love the rhinestone brad center and your touch of pearls.
OH, Ann, this is gorgeous! Love, love the purple flower set against neutrals. Tres chic!
Love your card, the flowers are gorgeous. I can’t believe how a few
pearls can just step up a card a bit.
Awesome!
Just stopping by for a quick hi and to check out today’s card, which is really cool.
Monday’s are crazy here, but I still need my card fix. ๐
That’s really pretty and I bet those ladies were so happy to make it! I love making paper flowers and am thankful that the scallop circle punches make pretty ones. I don’t have any of the dies yet, but the more I see that one used, the more I think I need it. ๐
