My Favorites from 2010: January

As 2010 comes to a close, I want to begin sharing my favorite cards from this past year. Over the next few weeks, I will be selecting a few of my favorite cards from each month. Wow! How my style has changed! For January, I could not just pick one, so I went with two! I am providing links back to the original posts, in case you would like more details! Enjoy!

Chocolate Candy Inspiration for Pals Paper Arts

I think it would be fun to remake this card with Cherry Cobbler and Early Espresso! The Decorative Label Punch would be perfect for the sentiment!

Vintage Valentine

Oh, boy! Would I ever have fun refurbishing this card! Victoria lace, a few Vintage Trinkets, and some of the new goodies from the Occasions Mini! Oh…did I forget to mention Basic Pearls? Hmmm! I can’t wait to CASE myself!

  1. Both are gorgeous. The second is one of my very favorites. It would be neat to see it with the “new” stuff!

  2. How fun is this? I love to see how people change a bit here and there in their stamping style! Now, let’s see how you would make them now! I can see distressing and lots of pearls! I really like both cards but the first is sort of clean and simple which I enjoy but the second one is crying out for some distressing and I think that would make a great card even better. But, what do I know? Thanks for sharing these with us. Let us see more, please!

  4. Ann, both of those cards are beautiful! Wow, what fussy-cutting needed to be done with your Vintage Vogue wreath, but it is so lovely. I’m glad you’ll be sharing your faves from the past year. SHould be a neat trip for me, too, since I’ve only somewhat recently discovered your blog!

  10. Ann, your style sure has changed, but rather I see you as EVOLVED with each and every card, yet, as I look back at these two…I’m not so sure with that picture I had. These are lovely Ann! They are original, striking, and I can see the grass roots of your “original” SU style or rather should I say THE ORIGINAL SU VINTAGE STYLE!!!! Either way I say it Ann, I’m loving this peek at January and can hardly wait to walk through 2010 with you! Merry Christmas, should I forget to say it later. Samara
