Although some of the products used in making this card are now retired, the layout is classic. Simply switch out the Designer Series Paper and sentiment for an instant update! And instead of Real Red, substitute Cherry Cobbler! Yummy!
Off to SchoolThe Twins will be starting Obedience School Monday. Puppies just grow up so quickly, don’t they? At 18 weeks, they are approaching 33 pounds. To put this into perspective, what you see is Brody’s foot compared to my hand. Yet, they still want to sit on mom’s lap. I held each one for possibly the last time Tuesday evening. In fact, Brody insisted on using the computer as he sat on my lap. He is such a helpful lad. And I do believe that Muffy is going to be an interior decorator when she grows up. She has rearranged all of the rugs and accent pillows in the living room. She thinks they look much better piled up in the middle of the floor. She prefers the minimalistic look, as she seems to be satisfied now that I have put away any little knick-knacks, afghans, large area rugs, baskets, and anything else that can be chewed on, knocked over, or carried away. Oh…and the stockings that were hung by the chimney with care? Forget those…

What style is my favorite or what style am I capable to make? LOL!!
I love your vintage style, however I can’t ever make it, I tried, really, but it all turned out….#$%^@#$….B-A-D : (
So I ended up with clean cards : )

February was a very pretty month!
Boy, The Twins are growing up so fast–already off to their first day of school.
Those twins are so funny!!! I can see you removing all your pretties. I did the same. lol Love both of your cards. I remember them too. Hugs,
OMGOSH Ann…I love to hear your take on your pups doings! LOL…You always have me in stitches! I’m so glad to hear Muffy has her eye towards interior decorating….I’m sure she’ll win all sorts of awards! HAHAHA….and wow is Brody’s paw big! He’s going to be the size of a small horse by the looks! ๐

Look how CAS these are! Not something I expect to see from you, but they are quite lovely all the same. And I chuckled about your puppy stories! Animal stories always touch my heart. TFS!
Hmmm from the looks of that foot those babies are definitely growing into their ears ๐
Anne, I laugh when I read your puppy stories. I can almost see them in the midst of their antics.
Your two Valentine cards are just beautiful! You’ve given me a couple great ideas to start on some.
Not sure which I loved the most – the cards or the Dynamic Duo?!? Henry’s front paws are as big as my hands and he is a small basset! I still might have to get that darn bird punch – that card is just darling! Well, I am still working on my cards and getting them in the mail. Why oh why do I love my embelishments – they make the card heavier and I gotta use more postage! One would think I would learn!

I actually have the two-step bird punch and the DSP you used. How exciting. Now I can make a card like yours!
Ha, ha, ha,ha ha. Puppy love is the best! My goodness looks like Brody is really going to be a BIG LAD!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year Ann!
Can I come live with you and learn from you like the Karate Kid — but to learn kick-butt card making ideas instead? Hmmmmm? I would be the best “grasshopper” ever, I promise.

More fun puppy stories! I love it! And, note the card I chose as my fav for one of my months is the card that you inspired an I CASEd! Thanks, Ann!
Is that Big Foot? Thanks for sharing your beautiful cards . . . we were just talking last night about the two step bird punch. Divine! Hugs, M
I think you, Patti and I have the same idea to wrap up the year sharing our oldies but goodies!
I love both of these cards ann-I saved them to my faves for valentines day. I am still knee deep in christmas
Oh I love these two cards, I could not pick from them either. Cherry Cobbler would be fabulous.
I agree! These are just lovely, and very refreshing!
I am enjoying your retrospective look at cards of the past. But I enjoy so much stories about the twins. Just yesterday I was wondering out loud what they have been up to and today I’m chuckling out loud. Yes, I remember the big paws on our boxer. And they do grow into them. Much success with the obedience training. Keep the stories coming.
I love revisiting your cards! Stunning, once again!
I think I’ve found the reason as to why you’re busier now that you retired than ever before — the Boxer twins! Hilarious story about Muffy the Interior Decorator and heartwarming for me as well since I now know that Tennessee was not as crazy as I once thought she was. I think these dogs have a pact as to how live with us humans!
Ann,I love your cards, The Butterfly of the Heart is so special.
Your stories about the twins make my day! They do like to get into all kinds of items don’t they?
I have to admit …I had a laugh out loud moment when I read about the stockings.
Brody sure is a Big Boy. The size of that paw is amazing!
Have a lap free day!

These are gorgeous! One of my very favorite color combos.
I visited a friend years ago, and his full grown Great Dane sat on my lap! I guess some never think that they are too big, lol! Have a great weekend. ๐
Hi Ann!
I so much enjoy all the stories about the pups! They are adorable and I can’t wait to see what they did!!! As I said earlier in a previous post, your work is always amazing!
I will need some advice in the next couple weeks because saturday we are welcoming a second dog, a large poodle and she is 3 months old so a lot of fun in perspective!!!
Thanks for inspiring us!
