I knew the moment I saw Nature’s Walk in the Occasions Mini catalog that I had to have it. Has this ever happened to you? You see a set and you know that it is the set for you? I think that there was just a certain vintage appeal for me, reminiscent of the artwork that you would find in turn-of-the-century science texts. Usually the more I use a set, the more creative I become with it. However, I hope that you enjoy the first card I have made with Nature’s Walk…I am already creating more in my head!
The Stampin’ Schach Design Tips:
- Color Spritzer Tool dysfunctional? Try the Wonderfully Worn background stamp for a similar effect! I simply applied Soft Suede ink with a Brayer, and the result is instant “aging”! Hint: This technique is especially effective if you have difficulty squeezing the Color Spritzer Tool.
- Framed! The new Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, Framed Tulips, makes a delightful…well, frame…for your central image. Make the tulips “pop” even more by lightly brayering Soft Suede ink over the surface.
- Tied up in knots! Crumb Cake Seam Binding takes on a different look when knotted with Linen Thread. And for a regal touch, add a new Trinket Crown!
- The finishing touches! Distressed edges are easily achieved with a Sponge Dauber and Soft Suede ink. A Basic Pearl accents the eye!
How about you…is there a set from the Occasions Mini that is just calling out your name? I will be anxious to read your comments to find out! And remember, if you ever have any questions about the cards that I create or the techniques that I use, I am only an email away. Until next time…

Wow! What a pretty card. I too like this stamp set,but I really like your take on it!
Another stunner. I think I can like the bee from this set now. I am getting better and cutting things out and you have been a huge encouragement for me. Thanks for blessing my day. ๐
Beautiful. Every detail is perfect. Love the crown, the new texture folder. Hugs, M
I love what you have done using this beautiful stamp set. Your card is gorgeous and looks every bit vintage. I love this set and it is first on my list for my big order on Jan.4th. I wanted to buy the Valentines day sets first. The other sets that I *have* to have are: Easter Blossoms,Bring On the Cake”, “Clearly For You” oh my gosh I want almost every one of them. And of course the papers, buttons charms etc… ๐

Speechless, Ann! The mojo keeps flowing with you! There are so many cute sets in the mini…how will I be able to get them all! You temptress!
Ann, Your card is wonderful and just look at that pearl eye. So clever. Next to Build a Blossom and matching punch this set is #3on the top of my list, but I’m super bummed because I just HAVE to hold off until the SAB to get any more “stuff”. I love everything in the mini and it’s going to be hard to contain myself. OMG.
What a beauty!!! Awesome job! I even got this DSP… lol Hugs,
I have to admit this set did not call out to me from the catalog. But, after seeing your gorgeous card I have to take another look at it. Love how you used the new EB and popped up the bird.
I like the sympathy set and the build a flower set w/punch. The Valentine & floral DSPs sure look pretty. And, of course, the rosettes that you have been using.
Totally forgot to add from the new catalog, I love the spinner stamps (sorry can’t remember the name of them), and the spinners you can buy to go with them.
Love the sneak peeks – this is so pretty – love the dangling crown!
I love this card, everything from the background to the crown.
So beautiful, Ann! Everything about this card is perfect!
Beautiful card. I love the colors you used and the ribbon treatment and the charm and etc, etc, etc.
Love how you used a pearl for the bird’s eye! You just can’t resist those pearls, can you? Beautiful card!
This is so beautiful, love this new set. the colors are so great and I love how you used the new crowns.
LOVE LOVE LOVE the way you tied the crown jewel onto the ribbon! Fantastic card, Ann!
