This afternoon, I had the pleasure of meeting one of Stampin‘ Up!s Rising Stars, Judy Garza! Judy came all of the way from Victoria, Texas to attend The Stampin‘ Schach Open House. Afterwards, she was going to visit relatives in Cedar Rapids, which is about two hours away from me…Or maybe she flew in from Texas to visit relatives in Iowa, and decided to take a busman’s holiday by stopping by the Open House! OK…OK! She really didn’t come all the way from Texas just to see me. However, after reading about the Open House, she did email me to find out how far out of the way I would be. Thank goodness she didn’t think two hours was too far! What a wonderful and talented stamper! Judy shared the beautiful cards from her “Autumn Days” class! They were absolutely gorgeous! I would sign up for one of her classes in a heartbeat! Thank you, Judy, for stopping by and spending a few hours with us! We will definitely meet up again at Convention 2010!

How wonderful that you were able to meet Judy Garza. It was very nice of her to travle the extra 2 hours to meet you and attend your open house.
I love the burning bush in the background of your photo. It is gorgeous. Our beautiful foliage has passed now but it sure was wonderful to have it for awhile.
Hope your week is a good one.
Mary
Ann, I would come to your open house, too, if I were anywhere near you! How fun!
That was so great of her to stop by and take part in your open house! Very cool! And congrats on 2 more iPicks – just saw them this morning – I think you are pretty star-like yourself!
I’m so excited you were able to meet Judy. Looks like you both enjoyed yourselves. That “burning bush” makes me miss the midwest (at least the fall color)! Hugs, Mary
That is so cool Ann…and regardless how or why she got there, you gals were able to meet, right??? LOL….and hold on….I’m looking in the bg….are you outside?….are those ‘real’ leaves?????? Oh my!! I miss those! I was born in IN, lived in MI, moved to FL as a tween, and we never get Fall here!
Hope you have a great Sunday! : )
