- Don’t overlook the journaling! Every picture has a story to tell. In this case, I wanted to convey the love between a young man and his dog.
- Experimentation isn’t just confined to the lab! With My Digital Studio, you can change colors and add elements to your heart’s content! I started out with a Really Rust mat, and once had flowers, buttons and bows adorning my layout. There was a flourish here, and a flourish there. Talk about over-done! But as easy as it was to add these elements, it was just as easy to remove them. Which brings us to our final tip…
- Less can be more!
What am I planning on changing with this layout? I plan on moving my flourish to the front and changing the journaling font. I had originally selected a font which coordinated with the “Cherish” sentiment. However, it did not show up well on the blog, so I switched to the current font. Tomorrow I will convert it back. I love the fact that I can experiment without using up my resources. In the case of cards, how wonderful it is to be able to try out an embellishment or a color combination before committing it to paper! I have been off the radar too long. You have been very busy. Your MDS pages are beautiful. I love the journaling you did on them. Can’t wait to find time to play with it.
Oh, how wonderful. Perfect! Hugs,
The sentiment you attribute to your son, Brady, is so touching Ann. Me thinks his mom loves “him” unconditionally!! The layout says it all – you’ve really put the words into the visual. I love how you balanced out the curves in your son’s posture and the dog and the upper right hand corner. The juxtaposition of the straight lines through the pic is fantastic! UGH – the curse of observation…but I know you understand my comments even though they are wacky and detailed. A great page…you are very talented on the Design Studio!
MDS must be addictive. I keep trying to set aside time to work on it . . . the Pals are rocking the house with their samples.
Wonderful page and tribute to unconditional lvoe. Hugs, M
Precious! I should have MDS in my hands this week!
Beautiful page!

What a cool tool to play with! I hope I get to see it again after you make the changes you mentioned. I love the fact that you don’t have to commit your resources because I spend plenty of time re-doing to get everything the way I want it or to make those little changes.
This picture is so sweet – I love the story it tells. I also love the journaling – it’s you all over!
Stunning layout and the words are both humorous and poignant! OK, so now on top of cardmaking classes, I need scrapbooking classes. Everything you touch is golden!
I had to read the page twice..that IS what you said…hilarious!
