It’s Sunday and time to play with The Paper Players!  This week the the lovely Joanne is hosting a perfect theme challenge for this time of the year: Love is in the air!

love cardI whipped up this pastel valentine for my husband, using the Bike Ride set from the Annual Catalog. Of course, I just had to use the yummy Lace Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder from the Occasions Catalog.  Enjoy!

If you like texture, you’ll love the Lace Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. I paired it up with hearts from the Be Mine Stitched Framelits, and the look is romantic and vintage.

Pastel valentineThe basket is filled with a small Be Mine scalloped heart. The sentiment is from the Meant to Be stamp set.  Both are available in the Meant to Be Bundle. A Pool Party and Silver Baker’s Twine bow and a small Blushing Bride heart are the perfect accents.

pastel ValentineUsually when I create a card, I always run it past my husband for suggestions and approval, but since this one is for him, I want to keep it a surprise.  So what do you think of today’s card? Won’t you let me know in today’s comment?
